Details: The Assistant Director, Workplace Culture reports directly to the Senior Director and is part of the Workplace Culture Team within the People and Capability Branch. The role is responsible for designing and delivering cultural initiatives and engagement programs to enhance the Directorate's organisational culture and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities: Developing and implementing diversity and inclusion strategies.Managing employee-led networks.Overseeing rewards and recognition programs.Coordinating employee surveys.Supporting the development and implementation of the Directorate's Inclusion and Belonging Strategy and Gender Action Plan.This is a dynamic position requiring collaboration across diverse internal and external stakeholders, strategic thinking, and project management skills to ensure the successful delivery of culture and engagement programs.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: Highly Desirable: Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Business Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Certification in Diversity and Inclusion or related disciplines.Experience managing Reconciliation Action Plans (RAPs) or similar frameworks.Knowledge of ACTPS policies, such as the Respect, Equity, and Diversity framework, and other relevant legislative requirements.Experience in public sector or government environments.Notes: Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. This position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk. Opportunities for flexible working options could include hybrid working, a combination of working from home, designated office-based and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT, part-time hours, job-sharing, flexible start, and finish times.
