The NDIS Commission is the dedicated national regulator of NDIS service providers in Australia. Key duties: The Assistant Director, ICT Operations manages a team to deliver effective and efficient IT systems and services. Duties may include, but are not limited to: Operational management of the Commission's outsourced services providers, ensuring compliance and an ongoing positive relationship. Management and oversight of the internal ICT Support Desk services and team, ensuring the Support Desk team has performance agreements in place and performance is actively monitored. Ensuring a consistent positive operational experience for ICT users and that the Support Desk remains within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Identification and documentation of required Support Desk procedures. Stakeholder and relationship management and development with senior executive staff. Operational management and stakeholder satisfaction of the organisation's ICT environment and assets. Operational management and tracking of the section's operating and capital budget, including procurement and contract management. Contributing to the development of a future roadmap for ICT systems. Skills, Knowledge and Personal Attributes: The occupant of the position must have: Extensive experience in ICT operational management. Experience in the management of application support processes across a national footprint. Experience in ITIL Service Transition, Service Operation, and Continual Service Improvement portfolio management. Working knowledge of ITIL Service Strategy and Service Design lifecycle framework. Experience in IT procurement and delivery. IT project and contract management experience. The following are highly desirable: Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Knowledge of the NDIS and an understanding of the role of the NDIS Commission. Experience working in the disability sector.
