Full-time TemporaryDetails: This role offers the opportunity to join an agile and multi-disciplinary team delivering and collaborating on a broad range of economic development initiatives.
The Assistant Director reports to the Senior Director, Strategic Policy and with a high degree of critical thinking, curiosity and initiative will:
contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of major economic policy initiatives;support, collaborate and foster effective partnerships and relationships. This may include stakeholder engagement where project relevant;coordinate and contribute to the development of high-quality reports, submissions, high level briefs and correspondence;actively participate and contribute to a positive and high performing team;provide advice and briefings on a range of activities and businesses and industry related issues; andsupport the Senior Director in providing advice to Executives and Ministers to resolve complex policy and legislation problems.Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately to 17 July 2024, with the possibility of extension up to six months. The successful applicant may be selected based on application and referee reports only. This position is available to ACT Government officers and employees only.
