Full-time PermanentDetails: The Assistant Director Safety, Health and Wellbeing plays an essential role in supporting the Directorate's commitment to a healthy and safe workplace.
This includes identifying, developing, implementing, and improving health and safety systems and practices to meet the Directorate's legislative, compliance, and organisational objectives while minimising risk in the workplace.
The Assistant Director provides professional advice to foster and maintain a safety and wellbeing culture by assisting and supporting the Directorate's Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Management System, wellbeing initiatives, and activities.
The Assistant Director will be highly organised, self-motivated, and responsive to business needs and requirements, showing initiative, sound judgement, and developing productive working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Eligibility/Other Requirements: Qualifications in Work Health and Safety with 3+ years of operational experience is highly desirable.
