The ACT Insurance Authority (ACTIA) is looking for an enthusiastic, positive and motivated individual, who has a passion for improving risk management capability through training design and delivery, to join us as an Assistant Director, Risk Training and Advisory, on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will provide operational risk management capability uplift within the ACT Government. They will be dedicated to promoting and supporting the adoption of strategic and enterprise risk management best practice.
Reporting to the Director, Risk Management, the Assistant Director Risk Training and Advisory will be part of a small team of exceptionally driven and passionate individuals delivering the functions of the ACTIA Risk Management Office. The team works to create a positive and resilient risk management culture across the ACT Government consistent with the Territory wide Risk Management Policy by providing polices, tools, training and workshops. The successful candidate will assist ACT Government directorates and agencies with the development of their risk management frameworks. They will develop and deliver training and activities to support risk management activities across the ACT Government.

Notes: An order of merit will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months. This position will be working in an office designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
