The Role As an Assistant Director within the Research Division at the Department of Education, you will play a crucial role in the higher education system. We develop, deliver and continuously improve the policies and programs that enable Australia's world-class higher education research system to thrive. Develop and manage project plans, including monitoring of, reporting on, and evaluating program delivery and effectiveness.
Build and sustain positive relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients, including identifying and liaising with stakeholders.
Undertake objective, systematic analysis and draw accurate conclusions based on evidence, effectively using program information and data to develop compelling briefings and presentations.
Manage procurements and contracts including developing a tender, managing selection processes, and addressing contractor performance.
Contribute to pre-award and post-award grant management: drafting program documentation, guidelines and procedures as required, supporting the assessment process, execution of conditions of grant, reporting and monitoring project progress against milestones, managing variations and project closures.
