Details: ACT Corrective Services (ACTCS) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced person to fill the position of Assistant Director, Program Design & Development (SOGC), within the Organisational Capability Unit.The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development and management of content for training programs, covering both correctional and non-correctional topics/programs.You will contribute to enhancing team processes, liaising effectively with business units to conduct needs analyses, and consider training solutions to address these needs.In addition, you will lead a team responsible for developing both accredited and non-accredited training materials in a variety of formats including face to face group learning, e-learning and self-directed learning, and, in collaboration with training staff, review and maintain the quality of learning materials.Further to this, you will establish and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including interstate jurisdictions, organisations and community groups, to support training activity across ACTCS.To be successful, you will have demonstrated skills and experience in reviewing, developing and/or enhancing training programs and materials in a variety of formats, in addition to excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills, necessary to build rapport with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.The ACT Public Service supports workforce diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive workplace.As part of this commitment, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people with disability, culturally diverse people and those who identify as LGBTIQ are encouraged to apply.Eligibility/Other Requirements:A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and/or the Diploma in Training Design and Development would be advantageous.Experience working in the Justice, Emergency Services, Law Enforcement or similar industry would be advantageous.The successful candidate will be required to undergo a criminal record check.This position requires a pre-employment medical.This position requires a Working with Vulnerable People Check.Driver's license Class C is essential.Notes: This is a temporary position available until November 2025.
