About the National Anti-Corruption Commission
The NACC enhances integrity in the Commonwealth public sector by deterring, detecting, and preventing corrupt conduct involving Commonwealth public officials. It does this through education, monitoring, investigation, reporting and referral.

Successful candidates will have the ability to cooperate, manage, lead and perform successfully across corporate and operational functions.

The key duties of the position include
The successful candidate will work under the general direction of the Chief Financial Officer.

Key activities of this position include: Provide expert procurement and contracting advice and support across the NACC, including effective participation in all stages of procurement processes.
Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders to identify opportunities, achieve outcomes, and facilitate cooperation in procurement and contract management.
Manage a small team, plan and monitor work processes, direct and coordinate quality assurance practices, to deliver high quality outcomes.
Ensure consistency and compliance with Commonwealth Procurement Framework, Policy, and Rules.
Lead the development, management, and maintenance of the annual procurement plan for the NACC and be responsible for quality assurance.
Ensure the NACC meets Commonwealth Procurement Policy Framework requirements, including compliance and associated reporting.
Develop procurement policy and advice and build procurement and contracting capability across the NACC.
Actively contribute to continuous improvement such as ongoing development and maintenance of systems, and procurement/contracting processes and tools.
Ensure quality outputs including that employees maintain a high level of specialist and professional expertise.
Manage competing deadlines to achieve results and deliver high quality outcomes.

The NACC is a small agency. In addition to these activities, from time to time you may be asked to undertake tasks that are outside your usual span of duties but that are within the range of your capabilities. Supporting one another in this way provides opportunities for exposure across the agency and is an integral part of the NACC's positive workplace culture.

Qualifications/requirements Experience working in procurement and contract management in a government setting.
Certificate IV (or higher) in Procurement and Contract Management is highly desirable.
