The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is recruiting for a Parliamentary Executive Level 1Assistant Director, Procurementwithin Planning and Quality Branch.We are seeking Procurement professionals to lead complex procurement and contract related activities whilst leading a small team to meet the procurment and contract management needs of DPS.
The suitable candidates will be required to prepare and review a range of written material including reports, contracts, procurement documentation, Senate Estimates briefs, questions on notice and executive briefings. Develop and deliver procurement and contract management training to DPS staff to build capability and capacity. Develop and deliver procurement and contract management training to DPS staff to build capability and capacity shilst undertaking other duties as directed.
The ideal candidate will demonstrated expertise, with a minimum of three (3) years' experience, in conducting procurement and contract management.Demonstrated high level administration skills and the ability to oversee the development of contemporary procurement and contract management process and have proven ability to communicate with influence and ability to nurture productive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
