Locations considered: Brisbane and Adelaide12-month assignment$602.55 per day plus superOur Federal Government client is seeking candidates with relevant experience in shaping policy, designing, and implementing important reforms within the Partners, Providers, and Home and Living Group. As an Assistant Director, Policy you may work on designing system navigation, supporting coordination and streamlining policy and process, innovating home and living supports, home and living policy reform, and providing guidance on co-design initiatives and trials.

About you In order to be successful in this role, you will have the ability to plan and deliver work within a complex policy, service, and stakeholder environment. In addition, you will demonstrate the following:
Policy and team leadership experienceStrong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsCollaborative approach, working well in teams and with limited directionExperience developing and interpreting policy, analysing data and information, preparing and reviewing policy papers, reports, presentations, briefings, and correspondence.Relevant tertiary educationCandidates with an understanding and experience relating to the disability sector and market will be considered favorably.
