Follow up on contract award, payments, material arrivals, scheduling coordination, execution, punch inspections, project closeouts, etc...Generate and manage AFE's for CapEx projects, including relevant photos, details and ROI'sEnsure revenue maximizationSupport of existing client relationships and helps building out new business opportunitiesEstablish parameters, quotes and negotiate prices and seal contractsParticipate in tradeshows, conventions and promotional eventsMaintain accounts, contact, activity and business detailsAdministering the Maintenance Department towards the attainment of hotel and department goalsTeam leadership and effective delegation skills will be key to success in this role.Oversee the engineering department with attention to details and follow-up to ensure satisfactory completion of tasks and projectsCoordinating enhancements and preventative maintenance projects for guest rooms, public areas, mechanical, and safety systems; working closely with the Rooms Division, Food & Beverage Departments and other departmentsAssisting the Director of Engineering with preparing and controlling the annual maintenance budget and Capital PlanMaintain all equipment and systems in correct operational status including but not limited to Accor MEP standards, Fire & Life Safety standards, Risk Management, environmental standards, expenditures and project managementMaintain all mechanical/electrical systems inclusive of Boiler Plant, chilled water plant, air handling units, fan coils, VAVs, motors, pumps, refrigeration systems, electrical systems, etc…Active involvement in yearly engineering-budget preparations and monthly forecasting of the department's expenses and accrualsAble to forecast and manage the hotel energy and water usage and all the associated costsAble to identify issues and provide solutions, inclusive of outsourcing and managing 3rd party companiesAble to identify, budget for and manage projects related to renovations and or replacements within the hotelWork closely with the purchasing department to source the best products balancing time and moneyMonitoring the Hotel's Energy consumption on daily and monthly basis.Ensuring prompt and/or immediate response to requests from our guests, employees, and management of the HotelRecruiting, scheduling, payroll, performance appraisals and reviews, training and development of all engineering colleaguesCoordinate and complete all audits related to engineering and risk managementResponsible for departmental health and safety, training programs, statutory complianceCoordination and management of outside contractors.Ensures hotel compliance with all City and State regulations and ordinancesActively participates in the Hotel's Energy Management, Occupational Health & Safety, and Environmental programs.Lead and support a diverse team in the operations and maintenance of the hotel including: general maintenance, HVAC, kitchen repairs, carpentry, electrical, plumbing and groundsSetup and attend monthly departmental meetings for the engineering colleaguesBe available on an 'on-call' basis during off hours for emergency situationsAttend to requests from the GM and Director of OperationsQualifications

Salary Range:

$90,000 USD - $100,000 USDVisa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
