Alice Springs Hospital (ASH) is committed to all people needing our service. ASH is a 189 bed specialist teaching hospital with a strong focus on Indigenous and remote health. The population in this area is dispersed over 1.6 million square kilometres, and this dispersion provides unique and rewarding challenges in the delivery of a range of comprehensive health services.
The Deputy Director of Radiology position offers the challenge of managing an outsourced radiology contract, and internal Cardiology Investigations Unit, with a mixture of public and private staff. It is a busy department seeing approximately 42,000 patients annually. Modalities include general x-ray, fluoroscopy, CT, mammography, MRI, ultrasound and echocardiography. You will support a team of up to 40 staff dedicated to achieving organisational goals and objectives.
