12-month, Non-Ongoing Opportunity: EL1 Assistant Director, Media and Communications Join our organisation as a key player in shaping and influencing the national agenda on a critical health issue.
As an Assistant Director, Media and Communications, you will be a vital part of our team, driving impactful communication and media strategies to make a meaningful difference.
Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive media and communication strategies to promote our organization's mission and goals.
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop key messaging and ensure consistent communication across all channels.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, media representatives, and advocacy groups.
Analyze and report on media coverage, identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
Create high-quality written content, including media releases, speeches, and social media posts.
Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns to drive engagement and increase online presence.
Requirements: A degree in a relevant field, such as journalism, communications, or public health.
A minimum of three years of experience in media and communications, with a focus on health or a related field.
Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for diverse audiences.
Experience working with government agencies or non-profit organisations is an asset.
Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
