The National Blood Authority (NBA) is an Australian Government statutory agency whose role is to work in a collaborative manner with all Australian governments and blood sector stakeholders to ensure Australia's blood supply is safe, secure, adequate, and affordable.For 20 years, the NBA has delivered an uninterrupted supply of blood and blood products to Australians in need under the national blood arrangements.Job ContextAs part of the Information Technology Services (ITS) team, this role is responsible for providing leadership, management, coordination, and direction to teams delivering ongoing operational management for the NBA's ICT infrastructure, cloud environments, and security.The role also leads projects as part of a program of change as the NBA implements an ICT Strategy focused on modernisation of its environment. The role will work closely with the Chief Information Officer and senior internal business stakeholders to build a shared understanding of expected outcomes while managing competing priorities.We are looking for an experienced professional with a demonstrated record of quality service delivery who can bring strong leadership and team management skills to the role while exercising initiative and judgement, managing stakeholders, and providing quality advice and briefing.
