Assistant Director

Description:
The Assistant Director is an experienced Senior Educator who provides strong leadership support to the Centre Director in the day-to-day operations and successful running of the Centre.
The Assistant Director works to support the team in the development and delivery of high-quality education and care, and actively mentors and develops the broader team.
This role will be both on the floor supporting rooms and educators, 1/2 days off the floor supporting the centre director with the operation of the centre.

Skills and Experiences: Essential Qualifications/Experience/Skills: Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent, or Early Childhood Teaching qualification Current Senior First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates State relevant Working with Children Check, Blue Card, or Safety Screening Current Child Protection Training Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly organized with proven experience juggling a wide range of demands and priorities, and managing time effectively.
Desirable: Previous experience as an Assistant Director or Lead Educator Knowledge and experience with Qikkids and Educa (or similar equivalent platforms) Skilled in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Facebook.
