Be part of the Director of Public Prosecutions' executive leadership team in the NT.
Assistant Director (Darwin NT) Eligible for admission to the High Court or Supreme Court of an Australian State or Territory.
As a key member of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Executive, the role will operate at strategic and operational levels and will play a critical role in the overall strategy, leadership, and performance of the DPP.
The position will provide high level strategic, legal, policy and business advice and decision making across a range of matters; assist the Director in the corporate strategic leadership and efficient day-to-day running of the office, including management of human and financial resources across the Northern Territory.

The Role
Demonstrate high-level contemporary leadership and management skills, conflict resolution skills, and proven ability to effectively represent a government agency.
Assist the Director in the day-to-day running of the Office, including financial management, strategic and operational matters and managing staff across the Territory.
Develop and implement strategic projects to improve the business, including quality assurance, for example, for the digital evidence management system.
Prepare high level correspondence, and responses to complex matters including cabinet submissions, legislative changes, law and policy reforms.
Lead innovative learning and development, and human resource and employee relations initiatives to improve business efficiency and effectiveness, and staff satisfaction and wellbeing.
