We are looking for a new Child Care Assistant Director at Wee Care Day Care. In a Child Care Assistant Director, we look for: Education in Early Childhood Education - Associates preferred Management experience in childcare with the ability to multitask, problem solve, and develop and lead a successful team and center Successful experience in developing relationships with children, families, employees, and community partners Knowledge and experience in state licensing standards Knowledge and experience in the Early Achievers program Some of the essential functions and responsibilities include assisting the Center Director to: Oversee all operations within the child care center Maintain compliance with state licensing requirements Oversee the implementation of the CACFP food program Maintain accurate family and employee required paperwork and database management Communicate with necessary agencies such as licensing and Early Achievers Orientate new staff and provide tours for new families Monitor implementation of curriculum in the classroom (Creative Curriculum) Monitor classroom practices, room arrangement, lesson plans, daily schedules, routines, and transitions and provide support as needed Identify and prioritize materials needed in the center Develop and implement procedures to improve child outcomes, parent involvement, and staff professional development Establish positive relationships with families and provide community resources for families in need of resources Ensure that files and documentation are complete, accurate, and confidentially maintained #J-18808-Ljbffr
