Across its network of hostels, dedicated Aboriginal Hostels Limited (AHL) staff provide accommodation and meals for residents in a supportive environment, assisted by local First Nations service providers and referral agencies.
AHL also supports the Australian Government's efforts to improve economic outcomes for First Nations people.

AHL is currently looking for an Assistant Director Frontline Services for our WA, SA and Alice Springs based hostels.
Working with the regional Director and a small Operations Team, you will support our hostel management teams to provide excellent customer service to the First Nations residents staying at our hostels.
You will have a committed focus on customer service and an ability to lead teams to achieve high occupancy and to meet quality assurance standards.
You will be a hands-on leader, willing to regularly travel, who consistently displays AHL's PROUD Values – Professional, Respectful, Open, Understanding and Proud.
The key duties of the position include: Lead and deliver high quality accommodation services to AHL residents Lead a high performing team to deliver quality customer service Financial management, performance and administration Facilities management Develop and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders Position Eligibility Requirements: Be an Australian Citizen Undergo a Satisfactory National Criminal History Check (prior to engagement) Meet Fitness for Duty requirements (prior to engagement) Hold and maintain a Working with Children Check in relevant state.
Hold or obtain relevant qualifications.
Position Notes: Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must be prepared to regularly travel to AHL sites across WA, SA and Alice Springs as required.
