The Murray-Darling Basin Authority is an independent government agency which, in partnership with Basin governments, manages the Murray-Darling Basin's water resources in the national interest.About the First Nations Policy TeamThe First Nations Policy team is responsible for developing and guiding First Nations policy within the MDBA. Its primary focus will be on the 2026 review of the Basin Plan. A key part of this role is to support engagement with First Nations people and organisations across the Basin.
