Assistant Director, Family and Domestic Violence ResponsesFull-time TemporaryDetails: An opportunity has emerged within ACT Corrective Services (ACTCS), for a highly motivated individual to join Offender Reintegration, as the Assistant Director, Family and Domestic Violence Responses (SOGC).The successful applicant will lead the development and implementation of comprehensive service delivery models that prioritise safety, effectiveness, and positive outcomes relating to Family and Domestic Violence. By leveraging Family and Domestic Violence sector expertise, data and information, the Assistant Director will continuously refine processes and strategies to address the complex Family and Domestic Violence needs of high-risk offenders and their successful reintegration into the community.In collaboration with external and internal stakeholders, the successful applicant will also contribute to the successful transition of offenders back into the community, ensuring robust assessments, treatment pathways and support mechanisms are in place.This role demands a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks, fostering strong partnerships, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. This position is integral to enhancing community safety and delivering impactful, evidence-based services.To be successful you will possess excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills necessary to build rapport and work collaboratively and respectfully with a diverse range of stakeholders.We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where people with diverse thoughts, lived experience, and perspectives can thrive and contribute their unique talents to the ACTPS and ACT community.
