ABC is looking for a dedicated Indigenous Employment Manager to join our Indigenous Employment team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced individual to contribute to our commitment to supporting Indigenous talent and fostering a diverse, inclusive workplace.
As the Indigenous Employment Manager, you will lead the development and implementation of strategic initiatives aimed at increasing Indigenous employment across ABC.
You will work closely with internal teams, stakeholders, and Indigenous communities to build partnerships, provide guidance, and create programs that enhance the recruitment, retention, and professional development of Indigenous employees.
This role can be located anywhere in Australia.
The Job Reporting to the Director First Nations Strategy, you will: Lead and manage initiatives that promote Indigenous employment across ABC, including recruitment, training, and retention strategies.
Collaborate with hiring managers to identify and support Indigenous job opportunities across various departments.
Provide mentoring and career development programs to support the professional growth of Indigenous employees.
Foster strong relationships with external Indigenous organisations, communities, and networks to attract talent and maintain positive partnerships.
Monitor, evaluate, and report on the success of Indigenous employment initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement..

Demonstrated knowledge and experience in recruitment, training and employment practices and processes.
Ability to advocate for Indigenous employment issues at all levels of the organization, influencing policy changes that support diversity and inclusion.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
