Assistant Director ESA Programs | Full-time Temporary Justice and Community Safety Directorate ACT – Canberra ACT Classification: Senior Officer Grade C Salary: $121,389 - $130,392 plus superannuation Position No: 61330 Directorate: Justice and Community Safety Advertised (Gazettal date): 24 October 2024 Contact Officer: Alex Nockels on ****** or (02) 6207 4*** Details: The ACT Emergency Services Agency (ESA) is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and skilled individual with a background in project management.
This role supports Project Managers across the ESA to ensure they are working effectively to deliver Agency objectives under appropriate project governance.
The role also involves building strong, effective and lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
You will maintain and update frameworks, methodologies, resources, tools and templates to support a best practice approach in project management.
You will also prepare briefings, communications material, and project progress reports for the ESA Executive team and stakeholders.
Essentially, this role will be a central point of coordination for all functions related to the Project Management Office, providing quality advice to the Senior Director ESA Programs including the provision of professional support and advice.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: Certificate IV or Diploma Procurement and Contract Management is highly desirable.

Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 may be required.
