The acquisition of conventionally-armed, nuclear-powered submarines is a historic and transformative endeavour for Australia. The whole-of-nation effort to safely and securely deliver the cutting-edge nuclear-powered submarine program will transform Australia's economic and national security landscape for decades to come.
The Assistant Director Enabler Capability Analyst Coordination will manage a team that facilitates capability management support to areas within the ASA that provide critical expert inputs to the NPS program, including workforce, Information Knowledge Management, Policy, and Nuclear-related disciplines. This role will oversee a team of analysts who support the integration of these critical enablers into the Program, ensuring their work is scheduled, risks captured, and costs understood and embedded in core program management artefacts.
About our Team
The Program Office in the Australian Submarine Agency (ASA) plays an important role in this undertaking by providing oversight and guidance to the delivery of the AUKUS Nuclear Powered Submarine (NPS) Program. The Program Office works closely with Defence, the whole-of-Government, and the AUKUS trilateral partnership across all aspects of the NPS Program to deliver Australia's most significant Defence capability in history. The Program Office is the central program coordination function within the ASA and is comprised of three directorates, focused on Trilateral Integration, National Program Management, and Program Planning & Cost Integration.

Accountable under broad direction to manage a multidisciplinary team of program management specialists to engage with ASA's key enabling areas and ensure that their work is integrated into the Program's core program management artefacts. Lead a team of analysts, exercising sound decision-making and judgement to ensure capability enabler integration within the NPS Program. Organise and manage work against deadlines and proactively engage with stakeholders to support senior executive decision-making in the Program.
