About the role In this full-time, permanent opportunity, you will support the leadership of our childcare professionals to provide quality education. Providing this outstanding service means that you will also be supporting families and the wider community.

Taking the lead from your Centre Director, you will help to support the day-to-day management in operations and leadership of the centre and the team.

You and your team will continue to expand on the strong community bonds built from decades of service provision. Offering affordable education with quality outcomes, you will collaborate with your peers and the local community to grow the centre to meet community needs.

You will also be well-supported in your role by our Centre Director, Educational Leader, Operations & Development Manager & Senior Manager, who will support you in your daily tasks.

About the program Our Exceeding, Reggio Emilia inspired, 71 place service is in the heart of Hobart and provides a nurturing environment for our children and our team. We are looking forward to welcoming our newest leadership role to our team.

About you You have experience leading a childcare service and you have plenty of new ideas about how to improve and are keen to try them. Building rapport is second nature to you and you can leverage this to engage in reflective conversations with your team around their growth and development.

You will also have:

A strong understanding of Early Learning operational requirements, including demonstrating applied knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations. Comprehensive knowledge of child development and quality care practices. Comprehensive knowledge of the ELYF framework, that is reflected and articulated in programming and reflection on outcomes. An approved Australian Children's Education & Care Quality Authority qualification (see list of approved qualifications). Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Certificates- or willingness to obtain them. Current Employee Working with Children Check / Working with Vulnerable Persons Check.
