Assistant Director, Divisional Governance and Business

CSD's Children, Youth and Families (CYF) Division have a vacancy for an Assistant Director to join the team. The Assistant Director, Divisional Governance and Business Services will work as part of a team to deliver professional outcomes for the division, with a primary focus of supporting project and broader administrative functions of the Divisional Governance and Business Services team within CYF.
This position is an operational demand driven role, and key responsibilities include providing administrative supports across the division as needed. The position will lead a team of staff to provide, finance, workforce, and business services to CYF Operations.

Eligibility/Other requirements: Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) - Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required. For further information on Working with Vulnerable People registration refer to - Working with vulnerable people (WWVP) registration (act.gov.au) .Experience and/or a desire to work in a community services environment is essential.Prior to commencement, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police Check.Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of up to 12 months, with the possibility of permanency. A merit pool may be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
