We have one immediate opportunity for a full-time position until 31 August 2028, with a possibility of extension and/or permanency. The Approvals System Reform team will lead critical projects to drive environmental approvals reform, incorporating recommendations from an independent review.
The team will work to identify and resolve complex statutory and non-statutory barriers within approvals processes, champion cross-government change initiatives, support governance bodies, and implement reform measures in areas with significant capacity constraints.
About You: This is an exciting opportunity for self-motivated, dedicated, and collaborative Assistant Director – Project Delivery to work on the whole-of-government approvals approach.
Working closely with environmental experts, you will be accountable for the delivery of approvals reform projects, bringing project expertise to planning, guiding, and implementing new ways of working.
You will have a keen eye on how initiatives can be translated into the operational world, considering risks, dependencies, and change management techniques.

This pool will operate for a period of 12 months with vacancies being offered at part or full time on a permanent or fixed term contract basis with the possibility of extension or permanency.
