Assistant Director/2IC Paisley Park Templestowe$35 – $45 hr (negotiable - based on experience)
We are seeking an Assistant Director/Second in Charge (2IC) at our Long Day Care Centre located in Templestowe.
The Assistant Director/2IC will be responsible for supporting the Centre Director in the daily operations of the service and maintaining high-quality standards. General tasks include:
RosteringTracking budgeted hoursMonitoring the delivery of routines and programsSupporting families with daily communicationManaging enrolmentsResponding to queriesFacilitating Educator meetingsWe pride ourselves in developing and maintaining strong relationships with the local community, and it will be the responsibility of the Assistant Director/2IC to support the Director with the implementation of this program. Activities include weekly engagement with local community organisations and preparing and implementing in-house community events. This requires commitment from the Assistant Director/2IC to be willing and able to support and facilitate community engagement tasks as required.
Paisley Park implements a unique Quality Improvement Program with a great focus on embedding professional learning in everyday practice. A significant component of our framework is in-house mentoring which may occur in or outside of hours. It is the responsibility of the Assistant Director/2IC to support the Director in facilitating monthly professional engagement sessions, which includes preparing presentations and reporting on progress of improvement to the broader Paisley Park family.
