Due to growth and internal progression, we have an exciting new opportunity for an Assistant Development Manager to progress your career in the Master Planned Communities team in South East Queensland The Opportunity - About the Role This is an exciting and that will see you work across 2 strategic development projects in Brisbane's North Corridor. You work on the close out of Stockland's award winning Newport project on the Redcliffe Peninsula and support the launch of a new project in Caboolture West. You will have the opportunity to grow as an Assistant Development Manager as part of a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team within Stockland you will have the opportunity to work across multiple projects at different stages of the development cycle. Supporting the Development Manager, Project Director you will be responsible for leadership in developing and driving the project strategy, with safety and commercial acuity at the forefront This role is based from our South Brisbane or Sunshine Coast office with the successful candidate having the flexibility to work between the CBD, project offices, and home. Key Responsibilities Work with the Development team to ensure the Project is scoped, designed and delivered in accordance with the business strategy, agreed vision and profitability levels Support project delivery to ensure schedule, revenue and cost objectives are met. Assist with driving the sales and marketing activities to achieve the business plan objectives. Engagement and management of internal and external stakeholders, including authorities. Assist with preparation and maintenance of financial models for current and prospective projects. Working with the project leadership team to control and monitor development budgets and financial reporting. Assist with monitoring progress on site, participate in site meetings and monitor actions out of these meetings. Support with implementation of Residential Sustainability Policy and community development. Procurement and payment of consultants, contractors and suppliers. Use your business acumen to monitor the market and competitor activity to maintain competitiveness. About You Degree qualified in a related discipline with prior relevant experience in planning, construction or the development process including development or project management Experience in land development / subdivision would be highly regarded Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter is a must; Demonstrated experience in achieving customer focused outcomes. Basic knowledge of procurement processes and contract administration. Ability to ask the right questions to achieve desired outcomes. Developed stakeholder management and influencing skills. Resilience and excellent communication skills. Commercial acumen. Strong report writing skills.
