Job DescriptionThe Role
As an Assistant Company Secretary at Automic Group, you will be a key part of our experienced team.
Your primary responsibilities will include coordinating meetings and managing a portfolio of public listed, public unlisted, and proprietary Australian entities.
You will also assist with meeting periodic reporting requirements, manage shareholder meetings, and prepare director notices and lodgements required under listing rules and Corporations Act.
We provide in-house training to help you gain exposure to the ASX while advancing your career within the organisation.
Responsibilities Assist the Company Secretary with managing a portfolio of public listed, public unlisted, and proprietary Australian entitiesCoordinate meetings including board and committee papers, attendance, and minute-takingAssist with meeting periodic reporting requirementsManage shareholder meetings including drafting notice of meetingsPrepare director notices and lodgements required under listing rules and Corporations ActAdminister all functions required for public listed entities, including preparing and lodging all ASX communicationsSupport Automic Group's other services through invoicing and cross-selling opportunitiesDesired Skills and ExperienceDemonstrated Capabilities Relevant tertiary qualification2+ years experience in a Company Secretarial roleKnowledge of Corporations Act and ASIC requirementsExposure to the ASXHighly organised with attention to detailStrong communication, relationship management, and presentation skillsAbility to work independently or collaborativelyExposure to JORC reporting advantageous but not essentialDiversity
