The Brighton Baths Health Club is a multi-faceted facility located on the Waterfront in Brighton. Established in 1881, the Brighton Baths is a Unique, Historically Significant and Inspiring Venue unlike any other in this industry. We offer a range of services including personal coaching and wellness classes across a variety of modalities; whilst a dedicated management and front of house team pride themselves on providing the level of service our premium clientele have come to expect.About the Role:We require a candidate with flexible working hours on a rolling roster, across a 7-day operation, including weekends. Our ideal candidate has strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with members.Tasks will include but are not limited to:Managing and overseeing sales department (Gymsales + Prospect Management Software)Ensuring all club policies, procedures and safety & OHS standards are upheldFocusing on member retention, new member and corporate engagementBeing responsible for actioning and tracking member cancellations & suspensionsWeekly sales reporting to Club DirectorOverseeing membership direct debit rejections and direct debit paymentsLeading new member club tours and introductions & onboardingLeading the FOH staff and ensuring smooth daily club operationsMonitoring gym floor activity, ensuring member needs are met, beach & facility is kept clean and well-maintainedCommunicating with members on a daily basisHandling membership enquiries and feedback in a prompt & professional mannerMember data input and working closely with Gym Sales & Perfect Gym softwareAssisting with staff trainingAssisting the Club Manager with the overall club needsAssisting Club Manager with seasonal eventsKey Skills & Attributes:Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectivelyA passion for health & fitness and a desire to help members achieve their wellness goalsKnowledge of PGM software advantageousMust have weekend availabilityDemonstrated ability to multitask in real time in a multifaceted fast-paced businessKey Qualifications/Experience:Former management and sales experience required.Currently working with Children Check.Pool Lifeguard Certificate.
