The primary responsibilities of this role are to assist with daily operations of the department in an administrative and clinical capacity. Personnel management of direct reporting lines and other administrative tasks as delegated by the Chief Radiographer are also an expectation of the role.

The Assistant Chief Radiographer will also be expected to participate in shift, weekend and on-call work covering the general xray, CT, mobile xray and operative theatre modalities where required, so a strong recent clinical grounding with acute presentation experience is required of prospective applicants.
