Little Ducks Annerley is a small centre that is dedicated to a play-based philosophy.
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Centre Manager to support our amazing team.
The Assistant Centre Manager will work as a part of the Leadership team alongside the Centre Manager and Educational Leader.
You will receive training in all aspects of the role which is primarily off the floor.

What you'll be doing.
Assist in the day-to-day management of the Centre.
Adhering to all legislative requirements by understanding government requirements which regulate the provision of care and education.
Financial management of the Centre, including CCS processes.
Recruitment, retention and training of staff.
Create strong relationships and engage within the local community.
Drive team engagement through positive leadership and coaching
Provide regular information about the educational program, as well as the learning and development of individual children to families and management on a regular basis across a variety of means of communication
Guide the Self-Assessment Process and support the development of Quality Improvement Plans

Who we are looking for.
Assistant Centre Manager /Leadership experience, within the childcare sector
Passion for Early Childhood Education
A strong leader, who can provide direction, coaching and support to educators
Thorough knowledge of Early Learning Frameworks such as the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), the National Quality Standards (NQS), Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG) and relevant legislative requirements

Requirements.
Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management
Working with Children Check
Diploma or Early Childhood teaching qualification
