We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Centre Manager (2IC) to join our dynamic team. As a key support to the Centre Manager, you will play an important role in daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of care and education for our children.About the Role:In this full-time role, you will assist the Centre Manager in overseeing the smooth operation of the centre, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. You will help maintain a safe, stimulating environment and foster strong relationships with children, families, and the community. Your leadership skills will inspire the team, and your passion for early childhood education will help create an engaging learning space for the children.Key Responsibilities:Support daily operations, ensuring the centre adheres to all policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.Assist the Centre Manager with administration and compliance, maintaining records and reporting.Foster a positive work environment by supporting and mentoring educators.Build and maintain strong relationships with families and the community, contributing to enrolments and centre growth.Assist in creating and implementing high-quality educational programs.Support children in their learning and development, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.Help maintain open communication between the Centre Manager, staff, and families.Qualifications & Requirements:Diploma in Early Childhood Education or higher (an Early Childhood Teaching qualification is desirable).Minimum 2 years' experience in a leadership role within early childhood education.Current First Aid, Asthma/Anaphylaxis Certification, and Working with Children Check.Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and Children's Services Regulations.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.Flexible availability to work shifts during centre operating hours.Why Join Us:Career growth opportunities within a supportive, professional environment.Ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and career.Work in a modern, purpose-built facility with excellent resources.Be part of a passionate, family-oriented company that values quality care and education.If you are an experienced early childhood educator with leadership aspirations and a commitment to providing quality education, we would love to hear from you!
