The Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) is part of the Courts and Tribunals division within the Department of Justice.
QCAT is an independent tribunal established under the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal Act 2009. QCAT plays an integral role in the Queensland justice system with a mandate to provide a quick and inexpensive avenue to resolve and determine disputes, applications, reviews and referrals in a wide range of jurisdictions.
As an Assistant Case Manager, you will be responsible for managing files in line with established file management processes to ensure ongoing high quality of service to parties.
You will also be responsible for assisting and supporting other registry officers carrying out the necessary administrative work for QCAT.

Key ResponsibilitiesUndertake file management under guidance and supervision, taking action on files to assist the decision makers.Provide information to parties on processes relevant to the application, ensuring the file is progressed in accordance with QCAT procedures.Prepare relevant correspondence and documents.Provide accurate and timely administrative support to other registry officers.Participate in developing QCAT initiatives to support the achievement of the QCAT business excellence.Undertake other tasks and duties as required to assist in or support the delivery of services within QCAT.Further informationWe are committed to building inclusive cultures in the Queensland public sector that respect and promote human rights and diversity.
