We currently have an exciting opportunity available for an Assistant Buyer to join our team, reporting to the Senior Buyer, based in our Pyrmont Support Centre.
In this role you will have the opportunity to bring with you your knowledge in Buying and put these skills into practice, as well as have the opportunity to support with creating our ranges and shaping our categories for stores.
Your new role at Sheridan... Support with the option plan build, buying and range/assortment of multiple categoriesSupport with Monday trade and general analytical support to aid in decision makingConducting competitive market mapping insights from store analysis and research dataCosting approvals in line with targets and code creationCreation of bed planner for in-store visual merchandisingPartnering with cross-functional teams on a daily basis to ensure the launch of product ranges in a timely mannerWhat experience you can bring to us? Experience as an Assistant Buyer or Buyers Admin Assistant, ready for the next step with local knowledge of homewares, soft furnishings, or the fashion industryPassion for product and buyingExperience with product management systemsCompetency in Excel is a must – VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables are used heavilyHigh attention to detail and multi-tasking abilityConfident in communicating and interacting with multiple stakeholdersWhat's in it for me?
