ABOUT THE ROLE We have an exciting opportunity to join our Cotton On team as an Assistant Buyer focusing on our Denim category. You will work alongside your category buyer to deliver big ideas and key lifestyle products that align with our brand and DNA. You will partner with your category buyer to ensure sales and trend opportunities are identified and deliver on production decision making solutions that offer growth to the category. We are looking someone who has excellent communications skills that will enable you represent your Buyers message and strategy; to help deliver on amazing products. If you are looking to gain relevant skill and knowledge through 'on the job' training while on your way to becoming a Buyer, then this could be next step for you.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE •   Degree/qualification in relevant field i.e. Buying
•   Previous experience in a similar Assistant Buyer role within Denim
•   Hands on product development experience, with the ability to manage OTB with a Planner 
•   Proficient capabilities in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Illustrator. 
•   Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate to internal and external stakeholders with confidence
•   Strong organisation, planning and time management skills
