What you need to know
Located in Lidcombe
This is an office-based role
Full-time permanent role – Monday to Friday – 9 am to 5 pm
You will be asked to work additional hours during peak seasons.

Your new role
This is a newly created role and serves both to support the Head Buyer and the National Operations Manager. The role will primarily be assisting the Head Buyer for 10 months of the year and then acting as the 2IC to the National Operations Manager for the 2 months leading up to Christmas when the workload is at its highest.

The Assistant Buyer / 2IC works with the Head Buyer to support new and existing suppliers – sending purchase orders and ensuring the business has sufficient stock. On a daily basis, the role will include:

Checking on items that require ordering, placing these orders with suppliers.Processing invoices for deliveries received.Communication with the Production Team for any item substitution requirements, requests.Maintenance of codes and raw materials within SAP across all 3 brands.Processing stock counts in SAP.Gathering samples, pricing and details for new products as required.As Christmas approaches, the role shifts gear and supports the National Operations Manager with the daily management of the Operations Team ensuring they have what they need to meet their deadlines.
