With offices in every capital city and a team of 715 staff, including 500 lawyers, we work in more than 40 different areas of law related to government.About the roleThe Business Services team is responsible for supporting AGS in a range of client-focused and operational tasks in the areas of Office Support, Events, Facilities, Reception, Mailroom and Records Management.
The Business Services team works collaboratively with AGS staff and a range of external stakeholders to provide high-quality support in a fast-paced client service-driven environment.In this role you will: provide exceptional customer service as the first point of contact for our clients in the office and over the phoneassist in the organising of functions, catering, meetings and other eventsattend rounds at local Courts, Tribunals and other locations as requiredundertake stationery and stock management including processing invoicesliaise with contractors and suppliers ensuring that office equipment is well maintainedaid lawyers and legal support teams in areas of peak timesundertake records management activities and other administrative support as required for the officemanage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.About youTo be a strong contender for this role you will ideally have:demonstrated experience in a front-of-house, Reception, Office support or Customer Service role in a professional environmenta strong client focus with previous professional customer service experience and a flexible and positive "can do" attitudestrong problem solving and time management skillsexcellent interpersonal, communication and collaborative working skillshigh level organisational skills and great attention to detail.For further information about the requirements of the position, please refer to the role description available below.You will have the opportunity to work with a community of professionals dedicated to the national interest.
