Assistant/Associate Professor-Clinical

The College of Dentistry at The Ohio State University is seeking an Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist for its clinical-track faculty position at the rank of assistant or associate professor in the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.
The primary responsibilities of this position will be didactic and clinical education in oral and maxillofacial radiology to students in the colleges pre- and post-doctoral dental programs and the dental hygiene program .
Other duties include research and scholarly activity, supporting the overall mission of the division, participating in university and college governance, contributing to the colleges continuing education programs, and practicing in the colleges affiliated intramural

May serve as course director which includes preparation and distribution of course materials, management of lecture/laboratory schedules, and conducting and grading of all examinations.
Support a model for dental education that includes the incorporation of innovative technologies, interdisciplinary education and patient care, and evidence-based dentistry.
Provide interdisciplinary mentoring to students.
Demonstrate collaboration between college divisions.
Participation in college and/or university committees.
Membership in professional organizations and contributions to professional activities outside of the university.

Education and Experience Requirements
Required: Candidates must have a DDS/DMD degree or equivalent degree, certificate from a CODA-accredited advanced education program in oral and maxillofacial radiology; and board certification/eligibility by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.
They also must be eligible for a regular or limited teaching license by the Ohio State Dental Board.

Desired: Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience and an MS, PhD, EdD, or other advanced degree.
