Assistant Accountant - Property

Job Description Your main duties will include:
Tenant invoice preparation, monitoring and collection Tenant rental account reconciliations Track lease agreements and perform rental review Monitor and control property-related expenses, including maintenance, utilities, and taxes Check payable invoices and perform payment on time Ensure all AP AR transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system Perform reconciliation of payments against bank records Maintain general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations Assist in preparation of financial statements and reports for property portfolios Assist in developing and managing budgets Provide financial forecasts for property management Preparing BAS for review Filing of property records Any other ad-hoc tasks as requested by management The Successful Applicant The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of accounts experience, ideally with exposure to the property industry or property administration. They will be proficient in accounting software such as XERO, and they will have excellent communication skills to interact with developers, investors, tenants, and other stakeholders.
