Randstad is recruiting for an assistant accountant to join one of our valued infrastructure clients on the Gold Coast.This is an ongoing temporary full-time role for a minimum of 6 months.
You will be working alongside the financial lead, accountant, and an assistant accountant.Key duties:Claim and financial reconciliations processingProject accountingAssisting with journal preparation, cost allocation, and other month-end dutiesManaging invoice approval process and good receipting in AribaAdditional reporting as requiredRaising purchase ordersSkills/experience required:Proven experience in the Assistant Accountant role or similarExperience in PivotTables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF highly desiredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and within a team environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProficient in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelCPA or studying towards highly desired, however not essentialQuestions in relation to this position can be directed to Sheree - ****** Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
