Our client is a reputable FMCG business based in Shepparton, who are looking for immediate support within their finance team.
About the role
This position is a 6-month full time contract role with the opportunity to be extended and/or made permanent with 3 days working in the office and 2 days working from home. The key responsibilities below are preferred but not essential as the client is flexible and willing to train the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Build relationships with the Operations Team for timely Factory performance reporting and improvement actions. Collaborate with the Finance Manager to continuously review factory performance and drive enhancements. Assist in developing product costs for the portfolio, providing insights for key decisions. Help influence strategic decisions by identifying cost assumptions, risks, and opportunities. Use product data to reduce variances between expected and actual performance. Collaborate on annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly performance reports. Provide training and coaching to improve operational costing understanding among business leaders.
About you
1-3 years relevant experience in a similar role ideally within the FMCG environment. Advanced Excel skills. Dynamics 365 is preferred but not essential. Opportunity for relevant candidates to come straight from public practice. High level of attention to detail with proven level of quality and accuracy of work. Proactive research, analysis and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks in a high volume, fast-paced environment. True team player.
