Immediate start position - Working Holiday Visa candidates encouraged to apply!Seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant for a 3 month temporary contract. Job Description Accounts Receivable/Payable: Process and record invoices, payments and expenses accurately. Follow up on outstanding invoices and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and update financial records, including ledger entries accrual reports and journal entries.Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements, reports and summaries for management, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.Budget / Forecasting Support: Assist in the preparation and loading of budgets and forecasts.Payroll Assistance: Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees.Audit Support: Prepare documentation and assist auditors during internal and external audits. The Successful Applicant Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.Demonstrated 3+ years' within a similar role. CPA/CA/ACCA qualification or working towards. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proven experience in the Energy & Natural Resources industry.Knowledge of large ERP and Microsoft Excel.
