The Opportunity Are you a recent graduate or in your final year of tertiary studies in Accounting? Jumpstart your career with Three Blue Ducks! This is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door and launch an exciting career in the accounting industry. Working in a small, fast-paced team, you will be responsible for the professional, timely, and accurate handling of accounting matters across our five venues. The role is based at our Head Office in Rosebery, starting at three days a week, with the potential to transition to full-time in the future. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Process Payroll Support accounts payable and receivable functions as needed Handle credit applications Perform daily bank reconciliations Assist in the preparation of management reports, including budgets and forecasts Perform general administrative tasks as required You will work closely with the Accounting Team and Managing Director as you receive plenty of support and mentoring. Your experience and attributes The ideal candidate will be a team player with a tertiary qualification in Accounting. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with well-developed interpersonal abilities, are essential. To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate excellent time management, organisational skills, and the confidence to work independently. Attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and a genuine desire to learn and grow will set you apart. - A Degree in Accounting is essential to be suitable for the role. - A minimum of 6 months of accounting experience is preferred but not essential. - Experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, is essential.
