Mallee CMA's mission is to manage natural resources in an integrated and sustainable manner.
It leads the delivery of natural resource programs throughout the Victorian Mallee in collaboration with government agencies, local organisations, Landcare, and community groups.

About the Opportunity Mallee CMA is seeking an Assistant Accountant based in Mildura, VIC.
Reporting to the Manager of Safety and Business Services, the successful candidate will support accounts payable and contract administration functions, contributing to the financial processes within the Corporate Services Unit.
Working in a small team, the Assistant Accountant will support project staff with the provision of 1-on-1 training in areas such as purchase orders, handle supplier queries, and assist with monthly financial tasks.
Strong communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to multitask effectively will be essential.
Key responsibilities include: Processing accounts payable invoices and contract claimsReconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepanciesGenerating and processing Accounts Payable payment runsMaintaining supplier and contract party detailsAssisting with audits and financial reportingSupporting financial management tasks such as month-end activities, fixed asset registers, and budget reportsHandling corporate card processing and reconciliationsSupporting procurement processes and ensuring adherence to policiesAbout You Mallee CMA welcomes graduates or those seeking to further develop their finance skills.
