Assistant Accountant

Our client is a leader in the plant and machinery hire industry, based in Ravenhall. Due to rapid growth they are in need of an Assistant Accountant to come on board on a temp to perm basis.

The Role Month End.General Ledgers.Daily and monthly balance sheet reconciliation.Assisting with tax compliance including BAS, Payroll tax, FBT returns, etc.Assisting with the preparation of year end accounts, statutory accounts, and audit.Assisting with budgeting and forecasting.The Candidate 4 years experience in a similar role.Experience using MYOB and Microsoft Dynamics.A Bachelor/ Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.Studying towards CPA/CA.Ability to work within strict deadlines and reporting timetablesExcellent attention to detail.Ability to prioritise and schedule activities to optimise time and resource utilisation.Ability to communicate articulately and efficiently with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
