About the companyOur client is a reputable pharmaceutical business based in the CBD, who are looking for immediate support within their finance team.About the roleThis position is a 12-month full time contract role with the opportunity to be extended up to 14 months with 3 days working in the office and 2 days working from home. Key responsibilities include:Key Responsibilities:Prepare manual journal entries and assist with basic account reconciliations while addressing queries from Finance Business Partners.Support the accountant with various ad hoc tasks as needed.Handle the preparation of manual invoices accurately and efficiently.Perform accounting activities under supervision, following organizational policies and reporting standards.Reconcile accounts, post journal entries, and ensure the general ledger remains accurate.Compile financial data to assist senior accountants in generating reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and regulatory filings.About youMinimum 2 years previous experience in a similar role, financial reporting accounting experience preferred.Advanced Excel skills.SAP knowledge / experience essential.High level of attention to detail with proven level of quality and accuracy of work.Proactive research, analysis and problem-solving skills.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks in a high volume, fast paced environment.True team player.How to applyClick on the apply now button below and we will be in touch.Six Degrees Executive acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we work and live.
