The RoleYou'll be reporting to (and be trained and mentored by) the experienced Finance Manager and Financial Controller who are experts in the systems and procedures.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your tasks and duties will include:
Reconciliations, journal entries, cashflow management, helping with Accounts Payable overflow, maintaining the company's fixed asset register, etc.Assisting with the preparation of financial statements across the multiple business entities.Working with other departments to ensure accurate financial information is in the system.Preparing month end reports and helping to provide analysis to the Finance team.Learning about the complex business and being mentored by the experienced FM, FC & CFO.About YouTo be successful in this role you will need:
Prior experience working in an Accounting/Finance team - could be from AP, AR or accounts assistant through to more experienced Assistant Accountants.Accounting qualifications - Certificate, Diploma or Degrees preferred - they are also open to people close to finishing their qualifications.Clear communication skills, willingness to learn and be able to juggle tasks by prioritising deadlines.Competency in Excel, preferably with functions including vlookup and Pivot tables - there will be a short skills test as part of the recruitment process, they also offer training courses.An interest in learning and developing your career in Finance, your own car and licence as public transport is not great in the area.BenefitsUp to $80,000 + Super depending upon experience.Flexible work policy, hybrid 3 days office 2 days WFH (in office preferred during early training period).Friendly and supportive team, excellent training and development opportunities.Mentoring and guidance from experienced people who know the business well and enjoy sharing their knowledge.A relaxed and friendly atmosphere along with people who have helpful attitudes.Onsite gym with a Personal Trainer who comes in once per week - part of work time too.Staff BBQs, great Xmas parties.If this sounds like you or someone you know please click APPLY NOW or send them this link.
