What does the job look like?
Linfox is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our team. Reporting to the Finance Manager – Fleet & Procurement, the Assistant Accountant provides support to the department for a variety of projects and tasks in Finance, Fleet Administration, and Insurance. Key responsibilities:
Preparation and processing of weekly and monthly journals. Balance Sheet Account reconciliations. GRIR reconciliations and follow up. Invoicing, journals, reconciliations and analysis for the Travel and Aircraft businesses. Support to the financial management of Vehicle Contract Management (VCM) arrangements. Preparation of various reports associated with Repairs & Maintenance and Fleet Hire. Month end support to Operations and Insurance Management Accountants Are you the one?

Minimum 2 years' experience in a finance / accounting role. Must be accurate with an attention to detail with the ability to manage large data sets of information. Possess highly developed analytical and numeracy skills. Experience using accounting / ERP software such as SAP. Exposure to Fleet and or / Logistics industry advantageous but not essential.
