Duties & Responsibilities Responsibilities:
Preparation and distribution of management reports (comparing actuals vs budget)Derive and post month-end accounting journalsCompletion of financial reports on a regular basis and providing analytical information to the businessPreparation of month-end balance sheet reconciliationsEntering financial information into ONYX softwareConduct annual asset countsAssistance with annual budget reportingCoordinate internal and external auditsPoint of contact and resolution of 3-way match issues between SSC and local ProcurementProject Accounting and continuous improvementPreparation and submission of monthly Minimum Control reportsPreparation and submission of Smiths Treasury MCDR reportManagement of AR function including collection, cash receipting/payments, resolution of invoicing inquiries and disputes, issue statements and dunning letters, credit hold process, maintain customer master data and submission of invoices in customer platformsManaging day-to-day transactionsManagement of VoIP system including inbound callsThe Individual Skills and Experience:
3-5 years' experience in a similar role preferred.Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or equivalent experienceAbility to prioritise workload.Strong verbal and written communication skills.High attention to detail.Ability to take responsibility and be accountable for actions to always ensure client satisfaction.Personal behaviours that demonstrate adaptability, initiative, integrity, and cross cultural and commercial awareness.Ability to meet deadlines.Understanding of accounting practicesContinuous improvement mindset and abilityWe believe that different perspectives and backgrounds are what make a company flourish.
